Brexit means Engxit.

Scotland soft Brexit , independence , the argument and the absurdity.
The UK and WM England's argument is there will be a hard border between any independent Scotland and England , or a hard border if it remains both in the UK and EU , thus preventing a special deal. It is the political parents equivalent of “because I said so”.
In other words a rock and hard place but only for Scotland , that is if it remains at the both power and charity of an English powered Westminster - its UK democracy , when your a UK minority , in action.
Not that WM intends to grant a special deal to Scotland at all , its not on the table , and never will be.
You can take that from the horses mouth , relayed by her implanted Governor , the lone Tory Mp sent from Scotland to WM , thus representing 5 milion people (sans the closet socialist unionist playing Dugdales musical chairs under DJ Ruth) that rejected him and his party.
N.I we are told will get this “one foot in both the EU and UK” scenario , yet Scotland will not.
The only possible argument for this over Scotland then is the physical border , ie the sea between the Irish and the English forms a Physical HARD border , vs the SOFT Open land border of Scotland and England , therefore the cost and provision of a hard border is the “supposed cost prohibitive reason” for one over another. Or is it?
So a McTrump wall will be argued for , whether indy or special deal , on top of Hardrians , if not the Antoinine , keeping out those pesky EU reivers using Scotland as a means to enter England to rape their jobs , and pillage their NHS.
So why is is then that NI is preferred over Scotland for a special deal at all?
Well its all about wealth , it always is , ffs you all know me by now on that subject , its through trade and taxes being in English benefit , by imbalance over balance. So its protectionism , thus control of power remaining in Westminster must be protected – its not like they would like the natives to have the unredacted accounts of GERS on their desk.
Of course there is less of a desire for NI to rejoin EIRE than there is vs a Scottish indy , at least historically . BUT with its population being much less than half of Scotlands then its easier to retain control of the MicMacs , more so with their genetic unionists vote in a higher number percentage aligned to England - than that of in Scotland.
But secondly the desire for rejoining and reuniting EIRE is prevented by this EU special deal , “bribe” , whereas without a special deal , then the odds would be far less in WM favour for retaining NI.
Even the NI Unionist hard core voter has their limits , pound in the pocket and all that.Throw a dog a bone politics , just dont tell them they have paid for it.
Of course this could be expanded further , given that its still control over EIRE even after its independence , via its exports going through PORTS in England and on to the EU or ROTW.
Proven in the same argument , the UK is EIRE’s most imbalanced importer , with it nearly double that of what it exports there - just like in Scotland.
Papers , papers….now entering the Check point Jimmy.
Are we really to expect that passport control , or lack of it , is to only apply in NI in such a manner as it proposes for either an independent Scotland , or as a reason for it not getting the same deal as NI ?
Maybe then , if one is tin foil hat cynical , can we expect the NI deal to be removed altogether at the last moment , and “gifted” like a poison chalice to Scotland , just to create animosity with the population of NI , and of course the rise in former unionist protestant Scots/Irish rejecting INDY at the polls? Nose , Knife , Cut.
Are we really to expect that Ireland (EU member) , will have no border controls with NI part of the (ex EU UK) , and with England , Scotland , or hell even the EU to simply lay down and accept it? EIRE will end up both the whipping boy in the Brit press for EU immigration in the Uk , and its own politicians as their own rod in the EU for actively seeking it.
While that border may eventually be forced on Scotland regardless post indy , it wont be on either EIRE or NI , so there will be a far harder sell on the English , once its brought to their attention in its media that is , that the free movement main gripe (aka immigration) that led to Brexit - is not removed AT ALL.
Has no one actually noticed the madness , nay argued , that the VERY same digital and biometric passports used by all EU members to enter a Schengen EIRE , would then be unused entering a borderless NI , which would then be unused to get entry to the WHOLE of the UK unless - SELF DECLARED.
So post brexit , after entry , sans schengen , it shouldnt ACTUALLY allow them to claim benefits , work without a visa , even to buy or rent housing - or have access to the NHS , simply by asking one thing at point of contact – PAPERS PLEASE…. And Yes I see the facist symbolism in the capitals as well.
Its not like your average EU citizen would have the ability to claim asylum on human rights is it?
Therefore any UK form of border with the EU , post brexit , is enforceable at the FISCAL level and beyond….. Not just at a HARD border control level , and so will not prevent legal or illegal immigration by the back door from the EU , just as it doesnt with ROTW.
For me thats the hard border question , or the special deal denial with Scotland , well its and truly
busted.
Benefits for EU nationals – the other Brexit lie.
Part of the free movement argument that has thrown up the Brexit result is the right to benefits , and the portrayal that the EU , Brussels , is to blame , however the truth of the matter lies closer to home.
Most of the EU Northern States have a form of benefits , sometimes less , sometimes more than in the UK – However their “rules” have conditions , preventing benefit tourism. The Uk since the 90s hasnt changed those rules and aligning them to those of other EU nations – ie the prevention clauses.
Germany benefits - https://www.sympat.me/facts-social-benefits-social-security-germany/
Most of the EU has a similar model – in order to get out your must have paid in.
Imports , exports and bears , oh my.
There is a trade imbalance with England and Scotland , but not as high as with EIRE and UK at 2x in than out , where Scotland exports to RUK is around 20 percent less than it imports - in other words an imbalance in the favour of the UK , specifically England.
Of course I dont deny the Unionist mantra that the UK is Scotlands biggest trading partner , followed by the EU and ROTW , but with those markets its instead rather balanced…. And importantly while it remains in the UK remains controlled by our internal export market masters , ourselves unable to make changes as a result.
It would be stupid to deny that RUK is not Scotlands CURRENT biggest export market , but with that we have to add that this is without any home grown trade deals , or even the fiscal levers to improve ie balance , tax and tarrif– thus just like Brexit , it is forced upon us , not negotiated , leading to , if not preserving , that imbalance of trade.
So can it be safe to presume that its pure prevention , market protection , in that...
A.You either have a situation there to keep that imbalance , in the direction desired for the larger partner , through preventing an EU special deal , ie preventing ANY devolved trade mechanisms to Scotland , a position that it would be in with a special deal?
B. Perhaps we will be seeing threats after a EU special deal , just like that for NI or indy , for increased taxes , tarrifs.
C. Or that this too is an opportunity for an independent Scotland to negotiate its own deals without Westminster , thus why Holyrood are at the children's table in Brexit negotiations.
It is all looking a little bit Wizard of Oz , in that that we must not look behind the curtain and continue to follow the red white and brexit road like Dorothy May wants , via her lone Tinman Scottish minister , the brainless scarecrow , and our buffalo fancying Ruth the Lionheart.
Sometimes the the wicked witch of the North isnay actually the bad wan , nor all of her flying monkeys , and is instead the victim , its all a matter of perception thus portrayal…. Regardless , we are still the munchkins , and some tigers and bears we never see.
Final thought.
I dont expect everyone to read my hyperbolic badly written meanderings , or even agree with them , or even the many that will perhaps disagree still do not still not offer any valuable critique on the argument (other than the grammar nazis).
Tat is why , when they are supplying PROOF of supply , it results in changing my mind to accept and embrace their opinion , reanalysing my own - even if in the beginning the polar opposite. This is self detrmination , of education over blind faitth.
There is no Tuber on my shoulder , no blinkers , no partisan zealotlike unfounded , unproven belief , that any party , politician , person , or institution is infallible.
If I am not an Economist , nor Politician , Lawyer , even degree educated , or opportunist , so why then should you listen to me at all?
The only real reason I can offer is personal experience , which is the basis for my opinions , as well as any unbiased investigation , gained through repetition and same results found , instead of JUST blind acceptance of the material offered – and one that may be deliberately flawed for bias.
Science methodology is proven , repeat the experiment , find the same results , thus confirm. Theoretical science , psuedo science , dodgy accounting , not so much.
But here is the problem with an independent Scotland , there is no science completed , only projected , from those with vested interest , ie Westminster and Nationalist , and we are to accept their biased methodology as scientifically proven fact without question. Either one is lying their teeth out , both are , or one of them is right – potenttially.
Its not like WM have form in prevention of data entering the Scottish public domain now is it?
So can we expect the same from the nationalists?
At the very least it is therefore in the nationalist voters interest to make sure their politicians supplied data is impervious to attack , without a shadow of a doubt. A scientific “fuck you , read em an weep” at the political poker table.
In near 50 years my grand total of overdraft used has been £20 in todays money , and even then by bank error , so fiscally I have PERSONAL economics form , but not the letters after my name for it , nor in running a nation. This with my own personal version of fiscal levers.
I do have to declare though a failed work from home sales pin money endeavour that failed , but that was not a financial loss , rather the thing was put to sleep after running the data instead of suffering from ostrich syndrome of “next year would be different” - unlike many others that have failed , and ran up huge debts as a result , including our supposed betters of history leading to the act of union – or even today in our politicians of recent memory.
But then again I do have complete unadulterated access to my accounts , my ingoing and outgoings to balance my books , redone by my educated betters for end of year , to simply dot the I and cross the T , accountants that are independently reviewed , so belts and braces
I dont buy on aspiration via credit , or invest for greed , I replace on need not fashion , balance purchases on affordability vs proven lifespan , I never gamble with a slim chance in order to get more , either with my own or the money of others. Once burned...Politicans though?
My personal GDP is in Balance along with my imports exports (bills and taxes).
If I was a political party I would still be getting my own vote for a proven supply , not on an ideology , and not on promise. Actually I wouldn't give such an obnoxious wanker like me a vote at all without it.
So perhaps this is the longer game of the SNP , in being the middle managers of the nation, for proof of supply with the tools given and those prevented?
This sort of fiscal prudence is perhaps the now missing a chromosome that somehow the stereotypical Scot , often represented and lampooned for in the past , has somehow lost , maybe in (through)their accepted subservience and de-education into assets for the wealthy and colonial masters as their new waged slaves – A nation now with an eroding if not oppressed intellect , yet a rising delusion of superiority over the less fortunate , losing their former excellence in manufacture and work ethic and quality previously world renowned , that once led to a waged premium for its workers as well as creating jobs , now replaced with shelf filling , virtual widgets , zero hour contracts , low wage growth , Chinese imports , long commutes to pay for a subprime mortgage on a sub prime hoose , and declaring immigration and the poor as blamehounds.
If I , as a confirmed pessimist , and yet proven self economist and personal investor without failure , can see a better future for me in the unknown for an indy Scotland , than the offered and likewise unknown future as being part of the UK , then things must be REALLY bad…. I am , as my investment manager notes - Very Risk Averse.
In my lifetime I have retained the services of educated professionals , just like those promising indy or in preserving the union , from legal to fiscal , if you know the current and former careers of our SNP politicians this analogy is apt , that they are still hands outstretched at bill time expecting their wages regardless – even if they have failed in their supply , and lost all of your money.
Well thats the same as being part of the UK , but instead of losing the money , its been stolen…. And your paying those that stole from you it for doing so to find the culprit , and every day , every child you create , will continue it as an export south.
BREXIT LIES. http://www.richardcorbett.org.uk/long-list-leave-lies/
Worth a read - proving that the EU refendum result is void , and by the same measure that the indy ref of 2014 , with its EU promise based on remaining only through being part of the UK was too also bullshit.... like most of the Better Together campaign.
However if the new concensus is that Britain is booming again , as a result of leaving the EU , then can those that said it would be catastrophic for Scottish independence not also have gotten it wrong too?
Its all a matter of perception , if not on portraying lies of today as the truth of tomorrown.
