Fake news is the new facts.

So this weeks NMM myth-buster is the "Majority of Scotland dont want INDY II".... Or do they?

So is it True - Holy Fuck Naw.

Therefore its Fake NEWS.

So why is it fake? After all it was all over BBC NorthEnglandshire so it has to be true , doesn't it?

Well the poll that started is off is one commissioned by the Sunday Times.

You may know the paper , its part of Murdoch's empire , you know the ones where the Tory party are besties with the former , current editor - oh and the guy that was Cameron's press secretary for a while - until phone hacking. BTW they were all cleared of that shit just in case you are interested.

In the original article by the ST , it stated that Scotland says no , in that the "Majority of Scotland doesn't want another indy ref".

Right from this instance it was misleading - programming you the reader , then the viewer on the Mainstream Media outlets - From BBC to SKY , another Murdoch empire BTW.

This is political warfare along the lines of social programming. The kind of shit you would expect of North Korea or from Putin (allegedly).

This statement like all fake news contains just enough disingenuous facts to be portrayed as gospel to fool you into believing it. The article claimed later on to be based on a commissioned poll - and in that poll 51 percent said they didn't want another indy ref - thats the truth(ish) part.

However the poll itself consisted of what exactly , what question , what options for answers , was it binary , and whom did they ask exactly - As I doubt 5 million residents were involved , I searched for the number that had been.

The number that RESPONDED to the poll , no doubt either online through special membership criteria , or via an unsolicited phone call - or even on the street outside perhaps the local tory club. These things actually do happen , they will weight polls to show what they want at the macro level statistically - ignoring all other data myopically on purpose.

Well anyhoo there was 1020 polled , in what ever form , and this gave up the 51 percent from that 1020.

The result being that the MEDIA then proclaimed for days via headlines as a "SCOTTISH MAJORITY" , on printed or online front pages , or on BBC Scotland NEWS as proof positive that you , the voter , had been consulted , BUT THE TRUTH IS a little over 500 people gave YOUR opinion to the media.

Its not NEWS
