The reality of politics escapes many, and not just as it being edited by the media and Govts themselves beamed unchecked into your lounge, or by sitting on a couch in the same lounge where twitter activism is replacing door knocking activism…. Though it does help , for now until that too is curbed by Westminster , demanded by your billionaire newspapers and licence tax BBC.

Politics , meh.

The price of BREAD is politics, your income, well its politics – your healthcare, well depending on where you live in the world, well its politics. The tax you pay , complaining about benefit scroungers taking it, in most likelihood is being used as a subsidy for corporate welfare more than a single mother , disabled person or immigrant.

But PEOPLE are still not engaged in that which affects the most , other than by the “HEADLINES” they are fed. So is it deliberate, asks some tin foil hatter, well this one thinks so.

Democracy is a sham, only if we allow it to be one by inaction, where the last resort is revolution on being denied evolution.

Today most of our public vote on Singers, Dancers and Bakers, comprising ex politicians and 3rd rate celebrities - that no one remembers why they are fucking one in the first place. Many others know how much the last record signing was for Manchester united, right down to how much they are on every week, but cant tell you the UK vat rate, pension age for WASPI women. In Scotland and NI you can add to this faux religious and football fans , they are faux as they dont sit in seats in either , still going on about some such shite from 300 odd years ago, where talking about Scotland comes “you’re living in the past” when your talking about its future.

I remember back when NuLabour where considered the “McMafia”, before the twitter, by reading the papers that coined if not promoted the idea and phrase. Letters pages were full of the same thing , and even BBC programming of light entertainment like Clarkson “and the blind gimp Brown”.

The onus on the letters pages was “who are the Jocks to be telling us what to do” , “removing Barnet from the spongers will teach them”. Which is Ironic considering that of the McMafia only Brown himself was actually Scots – Blair , and Darling being both English. Its much like the irony of calling the SNP, or indy folk English haters today , in the same media and new media – its well , frankly bollox and all they have – its the yer da sells the Avon gambit.

Maths and the Union.

So lets talk some numbers on how Scots DONT have much input, and or control, of English, or indeed this Union’s politics.

The Scots represent less than a tenth of Westminster seats, soon to be even less with boundary commission changes. Even when it once sent 70 odd members, it was still that small a number that in NO WAY could the Scots politicians outvote even the opposition in Westminster, never mind the GOVT itself.

That number is say around 8% of the Westminster seats, and even if we add Northern Ireland, and Wales to the pot, those 3 nations NEVER COULD outvote the sheer weight of Westminster’s elected govt.

As England rightly demands EVEL, it will then demand regional local govt NEXT on seeing soon after that EVEL doesnt work, just like the Union itself for the other 3 nations. So post brexit and EVEL, who will the media and wealthy choose as the blamehound for England North of Watford , on the nhs , on housing , on jobs?

There lies the problem for both a union post Scots indy , or if it remains with EVEL

The 8% that the English electorate SHOULD BE WORRIED ABOUT, well its not the SCOTS, but the billionaire media owner tax avoiders that direct your ire and YOU vote on it. Its those hoovering up the NHS, the shareholders, bankers, and the wealthy politicians that enable them , via political pundits themselves – including those contracted to the BBC, Dacre, Rothermere, Murdoch etc.

Scotland , resistance is futile , “that will be £147 please”.

Those very names above own 80% of UK media, as an oligopoly shared with the BBC, and this year will have DIRECT input into BBCS ITSELF via using LOCAL REPORTERS outwith its charter , mandate and accountability – the “illusion of a free press”, independent of state, has now became “collusion to oppress”.

The TIME for the Scottish Govt to act on the licence fee has arrived , even though like anything of value it is reserved to Westminster in order to keep the colony – it can like “unionists demand elsewhere by SG” to use the powers it has.

I ask ScotGov to declare the collection of it in Scotland illegal, with the power it has, what is deemed enforceable as a DEBT , or indeed as a crime in Scots Courts , until its either DEVOLVED , or as ofcom demands yet BBC IGNORES 100% spent in Scotland.
